Day 13 - Load and we are half way

Its a great feeling to have made the half way point of mother load,
The Prompt today was to use a photo taken as part of the ore training. We where asked to take a photo of one something in our daily routine that we love.
These photos are of me giving my little boy his milk right before bed. Its amazing how fast they grow up as i only took them last month, and already he is grown beyond this daily routine, it was a blessing that i got these photos, ( thanks Lain) And even better that i now have them scraped and ready to go into a album.

The page is made from a Becky Fleck Page map. If you haven't stumbled on this great source of inspiration pop on over and have a look.

I had some fun with a little Glossy accents , adding just a little to sections of the layout.

When i put the journaling block on i wanted it to be there but not take over, my solution was to put it through the Ezy-press with the dots embossing plate, and then lightly rub over it with some ink.

Now for the boring details
Paper is from the enchanted range
stamps 1772LN typewriter letters, 4225KD swirl boarder
Tags Alphabet.

IMPERFECTION

Do you have photos that u just love but they are slightly blurry, they are not centered, or just plain bad shots, but in the corner there is something that triggers a memory!
Then today's prompt is for you. Scrap a not so perfect shot!
I was in my element today as I have a lot of photos that would fit into that category. And wow I'm so glad that I scraped them, was able to tell a story with them, every time I looked at them I would smile, They so are my on the go boy.
Here's my layout.

I am supper happy with the way it turned out, a little more busy than the majority of my layouts, but i think fits my photos and my little boy well.
I used the same paper range as yesterday , the kaszazz All boy collection. the embellishments also came from that range. The journaling is actually in a dark brown on Ivory card stock.
I have used a small amount of Pealed Paint distress ink just to make a few of the bits Pop.

Thanks for stopping by Nat
P.S if you havent got into the draw for the giverway please do, Details of how to are here

Simple Sunday

I know ....Monday here in Australia but I am working a day behind because of the way the Layout A  Day works. If you have missed the post that explains this , here is a quick explanation.
I get the days prompt at 5 pm in Australia, My fellow American LOADSTERS get it at midnight, and wake up and find it in their in box in the morning. I do my layout that night and photograph and blog about it NOW ( in the morning). The light is better to photograph it in the morning...that and I'm normally walking out of the workshop at some ungodly hour of the night.

Today we had a sketch to work with, and me feeling a little lazy, and having spent the last 5 hrs working on projects for next weeks Product Launch and Team Training Day ( more detail coming soon). I did exactly as told kept it simple.
Have a look and let me know if its to simple LOL

As for the details and product list. that's not going to be hard LOL

The paper is Kaszazz ( of course) Its the All boy collection, come chipboard letters and mini black letters. Oh and the most important of all 4 beautifully photos of my boy!
Thanks for looking

Its all Black and White

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, wherever u are.
I am Happy to announce that its Day 10 that means we are over a third of the way through  mother Load. Last night when i crawled into bed, a bit past midnight, I was thinking would I ever do load a second time.....I didn't have an answer....at first I thought yes , but maybe I would not give it 100% like I am this time......then I thought , No its not worth doing it half hearted......then well it doesn't matter it would still get more scraped during half a load than no load.  And on and on my thought went....then I realised I still have to make it through this one LOL

Todays prompt is use a Black and white Photo.
So I did :) , took me ages to find a photo that I wanted to convert to black and white, but finally settled on this one.

Hope you enjoy there are some details below....and please cheek out the giveaway here

All the patterned papers are from the Kaszazz Ebony and Ivory range. These papers are Gorgeous. I never get sick of using them as they are great to use like this as a monochromatic set or add in with some colours!
The banner is hand made! and the letters are cut with a circuit machine.
The add Ink on the base page is a mixture of  Black soot and walnut stain distress inks. The swirls stamped with the 1937LH stamp!

HIP HIP Horay I have made it to day 9 of mother load
Today is a quick post and I'm off , lots to do with the kids today, must wear them out so they sleep LOL
Todays Prompt was to use scraps....to tell you the truth my whole idea was good in principal , but i think i made more scraps than i used LOL
I Know i could have done so much more with this , ( and i may just go back and fine turn it a little at a latter date, but its scraped and that makes me happy. It was more important for me to just get it done last night and then try spend some time with Hubby.

Here it is hope you enjoy

Permision

Hello again,
Today is day 8 of my 28 day scrapbook marathon, and yesterday was a shocker, to those of you that got through the post and survived thank you. And to those wonder full people who told me to stick with it.  A even bigger thank you!
Today is a new day , I put yesterday behind me, and I'm moving on......but in the process I made a little decision...I have been so worried about the pages not been good enough! Not good enough for my blog, not good enough to put into the big picture gallery, just not dam good enough. So my big decision......permission to fail. Permission for my page not to have worked , not be right on the prompt, and not look 100% the way I want. If I'm going to get through mother load with my insanity in place. This is the way its going to have to be.
And scrapbooking was so much easier when I wasn't worried that my page isn't up to scratch.

Today's prompt was thought full Thursday, and in the tradition of not so much stress, I took the path of lest resistance LOL

My layout is of my beautiful boy playing in a box.....The thought full  part.
OK here it goes and its a very thin connection......all the photos of him in the box are on the photo mat & the photo out of the box is not ! LOL I did warn you.

Here it is

A few of the small facts- The papers are from the Kaszazz foundations range, the arrows are made from lots of different left over pieces of bling. The rubbons are from the bountiful borders pack.  And well the boy is a product of lots of love.
HEHEHE

Thank you for looking and hope to see you all again soon
You Rock

I want to quit

Yes this morning i am sitting here and that's exactly whats gone through my mind.....i am a quiter... i like to bail when things get a bit hard.
Let me tell you a bit about how Load Week one has gone for me!
I get the emails about 5 pm in the afternoon, i finish getting kids feed, washed, and in to bed ( hopefully before 7 ) then run as fast as i can out to the workshop to then focus on my Layout for the day. The next morning i photograph and post it, both at big picture ( where the class is) and here on my blog!  Or that's the way its meant to work LOL  Monday i had a committee meeting , which i have to say we got through amazingly quick, Tue i had a sick child. The nights had been late by the time i had completed the layout and then i still have preparation for the up coming Team Training Day that i will be running.  I was amazed that I was actually still going strong!
 Yesterday i hit a wall!
The prompt was scrap like Way back When.
Well i really really don't like the way I scraped back then......and then i got all confused....and i tried and failed.   Now i want to go running to my mum and tell her its all to hard and i will have to give up!
Lets hope Coffee and a laugh with my good friend helps get me through!( Oh my god she just messaged me to say she is getting the car serviced and cant make our regular coffee date, thing are going from bad to worse LOL)
On the brighter side , we have completed out first week of load.  I am learning Heep's about not only my scrapbooking style but me, and at lest my scrapbook albums are starting to look full of recent photos.
OHHHH i was struggling to find positives LOL
Now the layout.

The paper is handmade using the 4110KD all boy uncut set, and about 5 different colours of distress ink.
The reason i did this paper was the prompt made me think of the  blue creative memories paper with the little white stars, it was one of the very first patterned papers they had....and i remember everyone saying how wonder full it was and how exciting it was.  LOL Its hard to believe how much things have changed. Buy the way i think i still have some of the paper somewhere.....!

Thanks for listening through my diatribe this morning.....im feeling much better not sure if its the  venting , the coffee , or a combination of both!!!

All about ...who ...ME ...no way

Todays prompt is a hard one......self portrait . Even my husband looked the other way and mumbled something along the lines of good luck with that, when i turned on him thinking he was been a smart ass. He looked straight at me and said....I'm sure its the hardest of all ! Dam he understood ! After been amazed for a few min i smiled to myself and thought maybe if its so hard then  skip it!
Like most of us i hate my photos, generally they show that i should not eat that piece of cake i was thinking about eating ,  that I'm growing older , that I am not perfect!
But then there are the times I wish I had more photos of my mum when she was younger, and I think to myself do I want Beth and Isaac to have the same problem when they are my age ....NO.
Todays prompt is a hard one but i attempted it ....I'm not sure that it was successful....but i had a go.
The journaling probably didn't give away why this is so much about me.
As a mum i underestimate Beth my daughter all the time, she is a very reserved girl, and the silliest of things sometimes she just doesn't like or wont attempt.
On this day i thought the boat ride with the wind in her hair and the speed , may just scare her.
But to my surprise she loved it . I must stop assuming that she is not going to...so she is more free to just do it!

Now for the not so important stuff.
More hand made paper!
The Red swirl paper is made with a embossing plate 5048 Round dance, then with the plate still over the cardstock i have used the blending tool and distress ink to colour the embossed areas.

Please if you haven't already, read about my fantastic giveaway here Up for grabs is a prize pack worth over $45

Oh So Cool

Oh so cool -Day 5  & Giverway info at bottom!

Today in mother load we are breaking the rules......u may ask what rules,..... any that we have set for ourselves. Mine is not a hard and fast rule i follow , but more something I avoid.
I don't use bold papers in my background very often, and even less a whole piece as a foundation to my page.So today i broke out a busy, bold piece , and went to town.
Some of you that have been following my blog may realise that i used blue....I tried really hard not to....maybe tomorrow will be my non blue day, at lest today's isn't monochromatic.
The base paper is from the All boy collection and  the shield is the reverse of that paper.
The red patterned paper is from the same collection as the blue paper from yesterday , Enchanted.
And i guess to keep the ball rolling the title is cut with the same alpha die.
Please don't forget to check out the giveaway I have HERE

Load day-4 Tasty

Yep 4 days of fun, fun ,fun.
Today the prompt is for us to pair down our page, to just what is needed, mmmm i think i must be a day in front, yesterday my page was very paired down, so i though that i would do something a little more embellished today.
The one thing i noticed after i had completed the layout...its blue....and so has the last 3 I have made.
So  I am hoping that tomorrow Lian's prompt isn't work with blue, as i have challenged myself to use a different colour LOL.

Here is my layout

The journaling is hidden under the photo.
It reads... Beth suddenly came out with this saying , well eating one of our homegrown oranges. Not sure where it came from, but since then its become a well used saying.

The papers are from one of my favorite kaszazz collections , Enchanted
The Striped paper is from the same line but stamped with a journaling stamp randomly several times, using faded jeans distress ink.
The cute cloud is also from the same collection and is part of the journaling aids sheet.
The title is a Kaszazz die and cut from white paper using the ezypress, and then coloured using the faded jeans distress ink.

Please see yesterdays post  here  for details of the giveaway worth well over $45

Load Day 3 - and a giveaway

First the layout read down for the giveaway!
Wow 3 days down and only another 25 to go, hope you can all stay with me through to the end!
Maybe cheer me on....and help me make it over the finish line !
Today we got prompted to use photos that have been sitting waiting for a while to be scraped.
What a great prompt, i know most of us  have those photo!  I really wanted to scrap this one , but keep putting it off.
This   photo of my daughter. It is over exposed, has parts of her face cut off and not typical .....but i love it!

Here she is in all her glory

I tried my very best to keep this layout all about the photo. I used some smooch spritz to do the spraying and make the blotches, I am loving this technique and using it more and more.

But overall its very clean and uncluttered.

Now for the giveaway......
Anyone signing up as a follower and adding a comment to my blog, between now and the end of load ( sept the 28th) will go into a random draw to win a Pack of Kaszazz goodies, valued at over $45.
I will post this wherever the winner is :) Wow look at all the goodies below

Good Luck, Nat

Day 2 Prompt- when u last laughed out loud.
So this one is about my trip to the theater with my mum group  friends.
Yesterday was a hard day i fell over in the garden with the kids, laying on the ground for 10-15 min thinking i may just have broken my foot! When i finally got up the pain was unbelievable......why am I telling you all this rather sad a sorrow full tale....not for sympathy LOL What was so great is that even though I was in pain all evening , I still went out to my workshop and did a layout YEAH This is what The mother load is all bout for me....making me try to do it even if i don't feel like it!

I plan on being back tomorrow with today's assignment

30 min layout

Today's layout is one of my all time fav's of late, i love the colours and the simplicity, i think playing at casual fridays is rubbing off on my scrapbooking!

The challenge for the assignment was to try do a layout in 30 min. I knew right from the start that it was a huge challenge. I had a really good idea of what i wanted to do, edited my photos and had them ready to print when i went to the workshop.  I knew exactly what stamps  i was going to use to make the paper......and that was my downfall.....i knew had to make the paper for this layout , as i do for many of my pages. Even thought it was simple,  it still took time.

For all of the loadsters ( lay out at month class members) who admired my paper and wish to give it a try here is a list of what i used and how i did it.

1 I  chose 7 colours of ink that where close to those of the rainbow . The are all tim holtz  Barn Door , Spiced Marmalade, Mustard seed, Pine needles, Faded  jeans, dusty concord, Victorian velvet. ( is it bad that i made this layout 2 days ago and didn't need to look up the colours LOL)
2. Cut a piece of white cardstock to a bit over the size you want the finished piece. I find then it looks more natural with the stamping off the page. I made one piece and then cut it in half to the finished size. ( cutting away a little from the edges also means you loose the harsh edge you sometimes have)
3 Using an embossing liquid and a stamp of your choice , randomly stamp all over the cardstock, i do partial stamping around the edges.
4 working quickly i then cover the images with clear embossing powder. ( this technique will work on other colour papers as well )
5 I then  divide the cardstock roughly into the number of colours that i am using in this case 7 ( this ensures that you get even blending)
6 I start from one end but it doesn't really matter where you start. Using your blending tool I  colour one section at a time , then working on the colour next to it i blend together as i go.
I hope some of you will give this a go , if your unsure start with 2 or 3 colours and a small strip.
What even more details I can take some photos for u just ask.

And for all those of you wondering 65 min was what it took to finish ( and I cheated a Little as i didn't count the clean up time LOL)  Cheek back soon to see if my next attempt is any better
Next time Nat

Holiday Chicks

Hello all
Did u miss me, I sure have missed all the challenges and fun .
Where have I been u ask? ........Holidays in Bali ...Yep I know i love making you all insanely jelous!
So now im back there is lots to catch up on...not to metion the fantastic photos to scrap.
I am now three weeks behind in LOAD ( lay out a day) this is week 4 and our challenge is to bust out those things we have been hording and use them. Not sure i realy did this justice but i still completed layout so ya!

The design is based on one of Becky Flecks, Page Maps if you havent visited her website do so its fantastic.
This one was from the aug 2011 group

I used one of my favourite papers from the kaszazz flourish collection.  I love chipboard but always hoard it for some reason, so i opened a new pack of alphabets. Gritting my teeth i broke it apart, and coloured it using tim holts aged mahogany distress ink.

Read below for all the details of stamps and papers ( dont want to put you to sleep LOL)

Part of the run up to the lay out a day in september is looking at how we scrap and ways to reduce the time it takes.

So for all the Loadsters out ther this is the break down of this layout ( anyone else feel free to scroll down :)

1:30 pick photos
 1:35 Journaling
1:40 picked sketch
1:41 Print photos right sizes
2:05 Pick paper and cut Place
2:50 stick them down
3:20 write journaling ( just realised there is spelling mistakes ahhhh) ( i wish i could spell.
3:30 Make embelishments ( i enjoy making my own but gee it took ages lol)
4:35 opps finished

I realy need to try work faster or i will never get through LOAD.....i really cant belive it took that long for something so simple.

Before Load I never realy took notice of what i spend my time on.

Well thats all for now will see you all soon with  week 5 assignment.

Follow your heart

Hi all
Just a quick post today. I am doing a class over at Big picture . The class is called The mother Load and during September ( i think lol) we will be doing one Lay Out A Day. ( LOAD) :)
Well here's hoping that i can do it. We are in training for it now so its not to late to join the fun , its a great way to tweak the mojo.
We are on Week 2 and this weeks challenge is to use old stuff from our Stash.

I used the  flock adhesive which i really dint think i would ever use. The other thing we are looking at is ways to sped up our scrapping so i set myself a time limit on this, not sure that its my style, but I'm not overly disappointed at the results. till next time !

All Krafted.

Today's post is a submission for  cas-ual fridays Kraft meets men challenge. We where asked to make our projects using Kraft and in a masculine theme.

I set to work on my card, taking a piece of kraft and a embossing plate and ran it through my Ezy press ( Die cutting embossing machine). Then without removing the embossing plate i went to work with some distress Inks and blending tools.

I  stamped and embossed  the car on glossy black cardstock, then stamped it a second time on white cardstock and coloured so  i could cut out the windows.

I Just loved the effect of the colours and blending on the craft so i just kept on going and whipped up this layout with the same inks and embossing plate. Well not exactly a manly project it could easily be with a change of photo.

There is only 2 pieces of coloured cardstock used in this layout. The dark brown and the slice of blue under the title. The rest is Ink, I love using basics and making fab from them, it saves money and it makes it oh so personal.

Hope you enjoy my double take on this krafty challenge!

Miss hanging with you!

Hi If you are looking for the cas-ual fridays post please go Here
Or read on for my newest post.

This is my entry for the weekly play date cafe colour challenge.
This is the colour combination that we are to draw inspiration from.
The colours remind me of youfullness's and playfulness.
So i decided that a card with young children playing, was the way to go!

This image- reminds me of one of my best friends. We have been friends since we looked just like the those two kids ..i think i will pop it in the post to her tomorrow let her know I'm thinking of her and miss her, I'm sure she will get a giggle out of it

Each of the pieces is hand cut and layered .They have a little dinesion to them from all the layers.
The Tree is covered in glossy accents making it stand out from the rest of the oatmeal and also giving it a lovely finish. I adjusted the sentiment by hand writing in the hanging with...a tad dodgy but it fits with the feel of the card.
Its not to late to play along with everyone at the playdate cafe, to see all the other wonder full and inspiring cards go here .

Splash of colour

I am so excited...toady's post has been on my bench for a couple of days and i keep looking at it and smiling, in this otherwise dull dreary weather a splash of colour makes me happy!

This is my entry in the cas-ualfridays challenge cfc#7 . This week the challenge is to use colour blocking.
I checked in with the who's who's over at the blog to see if i could do a scrapbook layout , I was ever so excited to find out i could.

Michele Gross's card inspired me, I love her work and I must say she leaves the nicest comments on peoples blogs, you can see her card here. I loved how she graduated the colours.

Here is my take on colour blocking. ......  or in my case colour shards.

This is a photo of my little girl when she was just 6 months old. The photo had so many colours in it, that it was hard to pick a colour to work in , so this worked great, i cut shards of cardstock in lots of colours trying to get them to blend to the colour next to it. Matted the photo in neutral colours and then punched out the butterfly's along the edge.

I had a restless night last night after posting the layout yesterday for the sassy lill sketches , things just didn't seem right' so first thing this morning i got up and changed a few things.....i am updating the post so i would love everyone to pop back and see what i did...let me know if you like the changes!

Nat

Silver Lining !

I have finally found the silver lining .....this last few weeks have been so cold and yuk, but today i have found the good in it, I have had my hubby home for a few days after a tiny operation he had, he is normally a very outdoors guy , if he is home he is normally  pottering around the garden or in one of the many sheds he has!
A combination of the slight discomfort he has, and the weather,  has moved him inside ...YEAH!
This has allowed me time to escape to my little workshop ( which has a lovely fire burning thanks to the afore mentioned hubby) and PLAY. I have had so much fun and have like 3 projects to post...but i wont overload u now u will need to keep a eye out over the next few days to see what has been keeping me busy.

News Flash * After posting this layout last night i decided that it wasnt quiet finished so i went back and tweeked it a little. There are some before and after photos at the end , let me know what u think!

Today's post is a project made from the sketch at sassy lil' sketches , for more information or to check out the sketch pop over here and read all about it.
I followed this sketch pretty closely to come up with this layout.

I had so much fun making these cherubs,
I stamped , cut , pasted and then covered in glossy accents ! Just love the effect.

The tags are done with shrinky dinks...if u haven't played with them, grab some and have a go.

The finished products ends up about  a third of the size and  quiet a lot thicker, it is hard and shiny.

If you are around my age  you will remember the  chip packets in the oven HEHEHE ...so much fun!
Well this is just as much fun and a good excuse to return to our childhood AGAIN.

There are so many details on the layout that just don't show real good in the photos , the bottom embossed section with the bling is just one.

Thats one Project down, please stop by tomorrow for my take on the Cas-ual friday Challenge!
Have a great day all

Playdate cafe challenge PDCC85

This weekend was a long weekend here in Australia, we celebrated the queens birthday. Cheers to the Queen ( and thanks for the extra day off )
I hope the long weekend gave some of you a chance to do some paper crafting.

I got a chance to do just a wee bit ...this is the second colour challenge card i completed on the weekend....its just taken a little while for me to get around to posting , but as they say better late than never.

This one is from the play date cafe and is challenge PDCC85. Pop over there and check out the wonderfulness that is going on , they have such a talented bunch of girls there, it will knock your socks off!

This is the colour challenge they have has us working on this week

The colours are just wonderful with so many possibilities.
This is what I cam up with.......

I put lots of work into making the background paper , I started with plain ivory cardstock , using distress ink and a blending tool i moved ink all over  a piece of plastic sheet, when i had it smooth i took the fleur stamp sprayed with mini mister and stamped onto plastic removing some of the ink in those areas. I then sprayed the whole plastic sheet and laid the cardstock in it. This gave it a really nice aged distressed look that i was chuffed with. ( round of applause for me :) I blended the edges with the blue and pink and repeatedly stamped the fleur image all over.
Stamped a journaling block with the lines masked and then the thinking of you in a combo of both the pink and blue. Embellish with ribbon and pearls and here is my take on this weeks challenge.
Hope you get a chance to play along there is still plenty of time

Tic tac toe....it feels like snow

Hi everyone
First a note explaining my long absence and lack of posts!  SICK SICK SICK...its been close to two weeks, and I'm still waiting to feel normal again!  On top of  that it has  been so cold....i mean ice cold...the kind that makes u shiver just looking out the window!
So i haven't ventured out to the workshop for ages!
What is a sick girl do to make it better .........CHALLENGES!

I love doing challenges as they inspire me to do things i normally wouldn't,and to get moving again, one of my favourite places is cas-ual fridays

Over at cas-ualfridays the are playing Tic Tac Toe and  what a fantastic game its turning out to be .

All you need to do is use three elements in a row or a diagonal from the picture opposite, keep it clean and simple and join the fun

I was inspired by the tic tac toe board and went to work on the emboss, punch and buttons

Below is my take on the challenge.

The Base of the card is 6 x 12 inch . The white card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and is  a sheet of white bling so has a lovely shimmer to it.
I lightly inked around the edges of the cardstock and then started making the tic tac toe board.
I used strips of paper and ribbon layered for the board.
Embossed a heart image and punched it out using the matching Kaszazz heart punch then
layered it on some  more cardstock.
When I stamped the smile image I  used two different inks ,  starting with the lighter ink colour then dabbed the darker colour where i wanted it.
Added a few buttons and TA DA
Here is a couple of close ups.
I must say i love the bright colours they make me SMILE

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC3

Wow What a busy week, things here don't ever seem to slow down! Between Beths kinder activities, and all the other little mum things, as well as prepping and teaching a workshop, there was not to much times left.
But his week i made an effort to get out to my workshop, as soon as the kids are in bed of i would run, and get in a hour or two of card making or scraping! ..... even thought I'm nearly frozen into a ice block out in there......its worth it ,  it makes me HAPPY.

The new challenge at CAS-ual Friday is announced...... every Friday .(duh)  If u haven't had a chance pop over there and see what all the goodness is about!
This week we are all challenged to use Rhinestones, Pearls, Glitter, Stickles... Gee that should be easy! Don't we all just love a bit of bling! OH and we must keep it Clean And Simple ( CAS)   Ok so that made it just a little harder lol.

I sat down and put this card together....then when it came  to photographing  it , i realised that may just be a bigger challenge!  so please forgive the  photos!  Every photo the glitter didn't sparkle and show up right until it was on this unusual angle!
Oh and if any ones got a hint on how to  take better photos bring it on HEHEHEH

This was so much fun and really simple to make.
Started by blending a piece of card with a mix of stormy sky and Victorian velvet distress!.
I used a Kaszazz design adhesive they come in a great range of designs, and can be used with embossing powder, glitter , foils, perfect pearls and more! This design is called Butterfly swirl ( 10140)
On top of the adhesive i sprinkled Fairy dust glitter , Pralines and cream !   mmmm nearly good enough to eat lol Unfortunately the pic doesn't do it justice it is so yummy!
Stamped believe underneath and put on just a little more bling with a row of sticky rhinestones.

Hope you all enjoy my take on the challenge!

If you like, stick around as i share another card i made this week.

With the new release of products from Kaszazz just a week ago , i have been so busy trying out the new stamps. Straight away i was drawn to one in particular
4481L Dragon
Here is the fist card that i made with it...
Please tune in tomorrow for another card made with this same stamp @ my take on the Play date cafe challenge.

I simply stamped and embossed the image then filled in the details with smooch inks using a water brush blending the colours. The cut out and matted on the bahama2200 and black card stock. The coloured mat is a combination of distress inks blended.

Supply list for this card is
Distress Inks Black soot, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Barn Door.
Smooch pearlised Ink Siren, carrot, Ocean Soul, 111111111111
Gold Embossing Powder
Cardstock White smooth, SB essentials Raven, and Bazill Bahama.

Till then Natalie
